For 25 years now, Monica Martinez has been married to her greatest role model; Sal. They have two daughters, Ana and Annette. She had the privilege of homeschooling for 11 years and found her love of teaching led to Sunday school, Women’s Bible Studies, Home Groups and Parenting Classes. An active member in both her church and community, Monica has given her time as a volunteer for many nonprofit organizations and has been mentoring young women for years. Monica is a strong pro-life Christian and dedicates much of her time by helping and mentoring young women as a Peer Counselor at a local pregnancy crisis center where she works full time.
Nina’s life was forever changed when she gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1984 at a youth Rally at Lakeview Assembly church, lead by her then youth leader Beth Borden(now Beth Lambdin). She met her husband Robert of 27 years through that ministry, and they have 4 beautiful children. Growing up bi-racial, in a single parent home had its challenges for Nina, but God has used it in her life in great ways. She has always had compassion for “the least of these, the poor, and the broken-hearted. In 2008 she gave birth to her fourth child who had down syndrome which increased her compassion even more. These things led Nina to beginning a ministry to meet the needs of the homeless and hurting called AOK (Acts of Kindness) in which she and her army of volunteers have met the needs of countless people in her community. She believes passionately in the mission of Inspire Ministries.
Carrie is a champion for orphans and foster children, not only in theory as she has adopted two orphans from Swaziland, taken in a young girl through Safe Families and is in the process of adopting another child. She has been married to her husband Chris, an Army surgeon, for 13 years and they currently have a total of five children. Carrie also has a BS in Nursing from Biola University, has been on countless missions trips and has been a mentor to many young people over the years. She currently lives in Germany where her husband is stationed. She has been a faithful supporter of Dan & Beth for decades and has continued that support onto Inspire!
